Fashion Designer

Elizabeth Martin designs are minimal and contemporary with a focus on heritage fabrics. Our fabrics have a story - Harris Tweed which is handwoven in the Outer Hebrides and MYBTextiles lace from the only Mill in the World producing lace on original Nottingham lace looms. We are advocates of the Circular Economy and our designs are made in Scotland. We know who makes our garments and we have a close working relationship with every person.

We design for women who like to be individual in their clothes choice, who like to have fun but who also appreciate quality in the garments they purchase.

We make clothes to last. They are not throw away items and we hope they will get passed down the generations.

We avoid synthetic materials and our preference, where possible is to work with natural fabrics like wool, cotton, and silk. We pay attention to every detail - we use quality lining and handpicked the buttons we use.

Our garments are elegant without too much fuss and the finish speaks for itself.
