This exhibition at the British Library, London, focuses on 3 manuscripts written in da Vinci’s own hand: The Codexes Arundel (belonging to the British Library), Leicester (kindly on loan from Bill Gates) and Forster (leant by the V&A).
This is the first time that any portion of the Codex Leicester will be on view in the UK since Bill Gates purchased it. It is also the first time significant portions of the Codex Arundel have been shown. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to get up close to these exceptional works in an exhibition to mark 500 years since da Vinci’s death.
A tailored retail selection in the gift shop includes pieces from our Leonardo da Vinci Collection.
