We developed this as an exclusive collection suitable for luxury retail in Edinburgh-centric heritage and hospitality venues. This helps promote the vast and unique collection held by the museum whilst also telling the story of Old and New town Edinburgh. The Edinburgh Collection was commissioned and designed for the Museum of Edinburgh, drawing inspiration from the diverse collection and unique way in which the museum showcases the city’s material heritage.

The collection pays homage to the distinctive roofscapes of the Old Town, the ever-present thistle motif, whether it is carved into stone, stamped onto letterheads or painted into the fabric of the city, mystical beasts, Greyfriar’s Bobby and his heart-warming story, the design of the New Town, the city’s rich ceramic and glass-making heritage, all realised through new and exclusive designs by a handpicked cohort of our designers and makers.
